Video shows missing Staten Island dad a day before disappearance

Newly surfaced surveillance footage shows the presumed murdered Staten Island dad in a barbershop with a person of interest in his slaying a day before he was last heard from.

The footage, obtained by the Staten Island Advance, shows Michael “Mikey” Stewart, 40, on Dec. 20 inside of the Back 2 Life barbershop in Port Richmond.

In the video, Stewart can be seen horsing around with person-of-interest Angelo Nesimi, who can be seen pushing Stewart from a barber chair before the two embrace, the news outlet reported.

Stewart has not been seen or heard from anyone since he last texted his mother, “Please help me Mom,” on Dec. 21.

Nesimi was arrested on Dec. 31 for assault and criminal possession of a weapon in connection to an attack on his girlfriend, Zammara Sanchez, police said.

He was also charged with criminal mischief for damaging a portion of a detective room at a Staten Island precinct.

Sanchez and Nesimi have been previously grilled by cops in the suspected killing, with Sanchez telling detectives that her boyfriend “killed somebody – and he made me go with him to get rid of the body in New Jersey,” sources have told The Post.

Law enforcement sources have said that Stewart had “a relationship” with the couple, though it was not clear in what capacity.

NYPD detectives believe that “it was a relationship between the three of them that ended with [Stewart] stabbed up,” a police source has said.

No one has yet been charged for the suspected killing of Stewart and a body has not been found.
