Would-be kidnapper follows woman into karate studio — and leaves on a stretcher

A would-be kidnapper made a big mistake Thursday when he followed a woman into a karate school — and wound up leaving on a stretcher.

The guy allegedly tried to force the woman into his car near the Bushiken Karate Charlotte Dojo in Charlotte around 9 p.m., according to WSOC TV.

She broke free and ran into the martial arts studio, where she told head instructor Randall Ephraim that a stranger was trying to snatch her.

That’s when the attempted abductor came in behind her and refused to leave, the brawny black belt told CNN.

“He then tried to force himself further into the dojo, aggressively pushing and swinging,” Ephraim told the news network.

“I then went into action defending myself and got him out of the dojo. Once outside, he attempted to attack again and was dealt with accordingly.”

When cops arrived, the man also tried to tangle with them, Ephraim added.

He ended up leaving the scene on a stretcher and was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries, police told WSOC TV.
