De Blasio gets super short cameo on ‘The Simpsons’

Somewhere, Sideshow Bob is smiling.

Mayor de Blasio’s cameo on “The Simpsons” lasted a mere six seconds on Sunday night — with Hizzoner getting just one line on his self-proclaimed favorite sitcom.

“From my shoulders, you can see Rhode Island!” joked the 6-foot-5 mayor, while hoisting “Grampa” Simpson on his shoulders and appearing as himself.

The episode — titled “Mad About the Toy” — saw the Simpson family taking a road trip from Springfield to various places across the US, including New York.

It’s the second time that de Blasio has appeared on the hit television show, with his first cameo coming in the 2017 mockumentary “Springfield of Dreams: Legend of Homer Simpson.” This was his first appearance, however, as a cartoon.
