A smiling image of the 13-year-old girl who was abducted three months ago after her parents were killed was posted on social media Friday night.
Jayme Closs could be seen beaming next to her aunt while holding her dog just one day after she escaped the home of her alleged abductor.
“Nothing makes me happier right now than seeing this photo. Seeing this reunion, seeing that smile! We love you Jayme!” read a statement on the Healing for Jayme Closs Facebook page.
She escaped the home and was discovered by a neighbor on Thursday.
Her alleged captor, Jake Thomas Patterson, was arrested for allegedly murdering Closs’ parents and then holding her captive for three months.
