Don’t buy things you don’t need and can’t afford
Since I’m focusing on financial woes today, here’s another one. And I have a solution to this one as well.
WalletHub, which follows the credit card industry, says 88 million Americans are worried about maxing out their cards because of large purchases. That’s one out of every three adult Americans.
The survey also shows that women are 15 percent less likely than men to have maxed out a card.
And the older people have a higher definition of what a “large” expense is. For instance, people ages 18 to 29 are more than twice as likely as people past 59 years of age to choose “over $100” as the definition of a large purchase.
Here’s my solution to all this: Don’t buy things you don’t need and can’t afford. Then your credit card bills will be smaller and you will be able to handle “large” expenses.
