It’s a heist made for Hollywood, but it went down in the Big Apple.
A thief broke into a Queens jewelry store through the roof early Thursday, and scored more than $1 million in bling, cops and police sources told The Post.
The crook clambered atop Shlomi Jewelry Store on Junction Boulevard near 38th Avenue around 5 a.m., and somehow forced his way in through the roof, cops said.
The prowler methodically worked his way through the Corona shop, taking over four hours to pocket seven figures-worth of baubles before letting himself out around 9 a.m., police said.
“I’m very upset and I can’t talk right now,” said a man who answered the phone at the joint, identifying himself as the owner, but declining to give his name.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage of the break-in, but didn’t immediately release a detailed description of the suspect.
