Fresh off her Hollywood Walk of Fame unveiling and slashing her hubby’s tires, Pink found time Wednesday to release “Walk Me Home.”
The three-time Grammy winner co-wrote her drum-driven new single with Fun frontman Nate Ruess and Scott Harris (known for his work with Shawn Mendes and The Chainsmokers). Produced by Peter Thomas (Betty Show) and Kyle Moorman (Jagged Edge), the track rides on the 39-year-old’s signature muscular vocals — with an upbeat “we can work it out” lyrical vibe.
This is surely good news for Mr. Pink, a k a Carey Hart, right?
In addition to copping to knifing Hart’s tires last week on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Pink also hyped “Walk Me Home” as the lead teaser track from her eighth studio album, “Hurts 2B Human,” which is due to drop in April.
The perennial pop-rock rebel also announced that her “Beautiful Trauma” world tour will launch a fresh North American leg with dates on March 1 in Florida — and culminating in a two-night-stand at Madison Square Garden on May 21 and 22.
Check out these receipts: “Beautiful Trauma” has already sold 3 million tickets worldwide — and over 1 million tickets in North American alone, Variety reports.
