Trump calls Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George Conway, a ‘total loser’

President Trump on Tuesday lashed out at the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway a day after George Conway questioned Trump’s mental fitness because of a weekend tweetstorm.

“A total loser!” Trump wrote about George Conway.

The president was responding to a tweet by his 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale claiming the husband is upset because Trump turned him down for a job even though he admitted Trump doesn’t know Conway.

“We all know that @realDonaldTrump turned down Mr. Kellyanne Conway for a job he desperately wanted. He barely worked @TheJusticeDept and was either fired/quit, didn’t want the scrutiny?” Parscale posted on his Twitter account. “Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success. POTUS doesn’t even know him!”

Moments after Trump called him a “loser,” George Conway responded on Twitter.

“Congratulations! You just guaranteed that millions of more people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism! Great job!” he wrote.

“Tell us, @realDonaldTrump – which of these diagnostic criteria do you not satisfy?” and linked to an image showing the diagnostic criteria for narcissistic personality disorder.

Shortly after the president and George Conway’s Twitter spat erupted, the Washington Post published a letter from April 2016 in which Trump lauded him for helping settle a dispute at the Trump World Tower in New York.

“What I was most impressed with was how quickly you were able to comprehend a very bad situation. In any event, the building has now been normalized, and the employees are no longer doing menial tasks, etc. for our former Board Members,” Trump said in the letter. “PS – And, you have a truly great voice, certainly not a bad asset for a top trial lawyer!”

George Conway, who withdrew from consideration for a Justice Department job in June 2017, trolled Trump after the president tweeted or retweeted more than 50 times over the weekend.

Trump aired grievances about special counsel Robert Mueller, “Saturday Night Live” and the late GOP Sen. John McCain, and lobbied Fox News on behalf of Jeanine Pirro and Tucker Carlson.

“Don’t assume that the things he says and does are part of a rational plan or strategy, because they seldom are. Consider them as a product of his pathologies, and they make perfect sense,” George Conway wrote Monday morning.

Kellyanne Conway told reporters that she doesn’t “share those concerns” about the president’s mental fitness.
