A Staten Island public school teacher has been missing since Saturday, her friends and the NYPD said Tuesday.
Jeanine Cammarata, 37, who works at P.S. 29 in Castleton Corners, was last seen at about 9 p.m. at her boyfriend’s home on McVeigh Avenue in New Springville, police said Tuesday.
Her boyfriend called the cops to report her missing on Tuesday, after she didn’t show up to work.
“She’s never once NOT called into school. She’d never risk her job at the [Department of Education] in NYC,” wrote one of her friends on Facebook Monday. “She didn’t call her mother for her bday, which was yesterday.”
Cammarata is described as being 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Anyone with information can call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
