Shocking footage shows men firing shots on Brooklyn street

Shocking footage released by police shows two men brandish handguns and one squeeze off five shots on a Brooklyn sidewalk.

The gunmen were walking on Nostrand Avenue near Gates Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 9:30 p.m. Monday when they both suddenly pulled out their weapons. One thug begins firing shots, according to video released by cops late Wednesday, and the second apparently tries to shoot, but no rounds appear to be fired.

Meanwhile, two bystanders are seen walking away from the gunmen, seemingly unfazed by the events.

Two men were injured in the barrage of bullets, with a 28-year-old getting hit in both legs and a 32-year-old taking a slug in his left shoulder. They were taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The thugs fled and are still on the loose. The victims are not cooperating with police, a source said.
