Cops searching for man who hurled bricks at dozens of city WiFi kiosks
An unhinged man went on week-long brick-throwing spree in Manhattan, targeting dozens of WiFi kiosks in the borough, police said.
The madman threw bricks and other blunt objects at 42 LinkNYC kiosks from Greenwich Village to Midtown from April 16 to April 23, cops said.
Surveillance video of one of his attacks shows the suspect heave a brick at a screen of one of the kiosks. Pieces of shattered glass then cascade down to the street as the man walks away, the video shows.
The suspect, who is still at large, was last seen wearing a long sleeved blue shirt, dark pants and gray sneakers, police said.
