It appears Danny Amendola is moving on.
Over the weekend, the Detroit Lions receiver, who split from model Olivia Culpo in October, was spotted in Miami with an unidentified gal pal.
As for Culpo, 27, who dropped Amendola, 33, after images surfaced of the NFL star soaking up the sun with journalist Bianca Peters last fall, she, too, is in South Florida, celebrating her birthday, as well as her appearance in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
“@si_swimsuit .. It’s finally here!!!!!!” Culpo posted Wednesday on Instagram. “This was one of my hardest days for personal reasons (as some of you may remember). I landed in Australia to shoot these photos with some info that rocked my world. Looking back at this first picture, I know exactly what was going through my mind at the time.”
She continued: “I was so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be doing something I had dreamed of, and wished and hoped for since I was a little girl. And I sit here today feeling SO grateful. I feel like I worked really hard, and hope I can use my experience to inspire people to 1. Always follow your dreams 2. Know the power of the law of attraction and manifesting what you want in life 3. Try your hardest to always give thanks, even when it is difficult and you may not understand why certain things happen when they do.”
Culpo concluded: “Even though I was struggling on this day, I know in this picture I was thanking God for the opportunities life has given me and for making every day a blessing.”
Since splitting from Amendola, Culpo has been seen with DJ Zedd on different occasions, including Friday’s birthday bash in Miami.
“[Zedd was] getting cozy with Olivia all night, and sat next to her for the entirety of the dinner,” a source told Page Six exclusively. “They were definitely into each other.”
Culpo, who was first spotted with Zedd at Coachella in April, per TMZ, was previously on the receiving end of an Instagram rant by ex Amendola, who later addressed the “miscommunication.”
“What I meant to say yesterday was that the media and general public have no idea what goes on behind closed doors,” Amendola wrote last month.
