A father from North Carolina got his car shot up during an argument over a parking space — while his 3-year-old daughter was sitting in the backseat, a report says.
Julius Lewis, of High Point, was wounded during the Thursday night shooting but his child was unharmed, according to WFMY.
He had been arguing with people in a black Chevrolet Sedan who were apparently sitting in his assigned parking space outside his apartment complex, cops said.
The people opened fire during the dispute and managed to injure Lewis in his hip. It’s unclear whether he got hit by a bullet or piece of shrapnel. Eleven 9mmm shell casings were found at the scene, according to WFMY.
Paramedics treated Lewis and he reportedly left after turning down a trip to the hospital. Cops were still investigating the shooting on Friday.
