Don’t look for Colin Cowherd to get invited to any Browns parties anytime soon. First he feuded with Baker Mayfield and now it’s former Giant Odell Beckham Jr.
The talk-show-host-turned-TV-personality made a list of his top 10 moments of Beckham’s career, and it included just one football play, his acrobatic one-handed catch against the Cowboys. The other nine moments were off the field, such as his histrionics with the kicking net and the boat trip in Miami.
Beckham went off on Twitter in a series of tweets, accusing Cowherd of using his name for ratings and being fake.
“NOWWWW UVE GONE TOOOO FAR…. bro I understand nobody listens to ur show but stop using my name to get clout bro, I let u say and do whatever u want but uve gone to far now,” Beckham tweeted. “So heres the attention U wanted and desperately needed i see. I had respect for u after talkin on the ph.
“But I honestly I really hate to even give u this spotlight,” he continued. “Just put some respect on my name as ur talkin bout me and my family to booost ur TV shows and ratings. If I was GREAT then u and others wouldn’t talk about me this much. I DONT hear much talk bout anybody else at All.”
He posted a screen-shot of a text-message conversation the two have had to show a different side of Cowherd, congratulating Beckham after he was traded to the Browns.
