Summer gets hotter with new pics from pet-friendly FDNY, EMS calendar

They’re cute, they’re playful and their devotion is unconditional — and the dogs are nice, too!

The hot-hot-hot men and women of the FDNY and EMS are back with a new calendar for 2020, this one featuring dogs and cats adopted from the city’s Animal Care Centers.

Next year’s Calendar of Heroes features sultry Ms. November, Emergency Medical Technician Kershina Alexander, getting a kiss on the chin from a sweet Shepherd mix.

There’s also a topless Mr. September, firefighter Johnathan Medina, posing with a gruff-looking bulldog.

Actually, all the calendar’s male firefighters are topless, with their, er, rigs prominently displayed.

Each month offers a different picturesque couple plus a fire and life-saving safety message.

FDNY 2020 Calendar

The pairing of hero rescuers and rescued pets was the brainchild of the FDNY Foundation, which produces the calendar every year as a fundraiser.

Mr. May, Emergency Medical Technician Daniel Seiger, and his cat, Big Sexy, are already used to the spotlight.

The two had been posing for the calendar in a January photo shoot at the firehouse at the South Street Seaport when something spooked Big Sexy, and the cat bolted.

The kitty was missing for all of February before turning up safe and sound across the bay in Staten Island.

Proceeds from the calendar benefit the FDNY Foundation, which helps fund education, training and equipment for firefighters, EMTs and paramedics, according to the agency’s Web site.

The calendars are for sale for $15.95 at FDNYShop.com.
