A retired cop got stabbed on Sunday night during an apparent road rage incident in Brooklyn, according to police and law enforcement sources.
The confrontation went down near Alabama Ave and Livonia Ave at around 6:50 p.m., NYPD officials said.
Cops confirmed that a motor vehicle dispute led to the stabbing, but it’s unclear what started it.
Sources told The Post that the retired officer was stabbed in the arm and expected to be okay. His attacker was taken into custody.
The incident comes just days after retired NYPD detective had to pull a pistol on a homeless man who began threatening him on the G train with a baseball bat. The ex-cop was able to keep the individual at bay before eventually chasing him to the street and calling police.
“There was nothing there between me and him to cause an altercation,” said former detective David Morales. “I strongly believe he was looking for trouble.”
