Three people were shot by a man on a bicycle in the Bronx Sunday afternoon, according to police.
The male suspect was riding a bicycle around 4 p.m. on East 166 Street and College Avenue in Concourse Village when he opened fire, cops said.
A 17-year-old boy was shot in the left leg, a 26-year-old woman was shot in the right knee, and a bullet grazed the left arm of a 26-year-old man, cops added.
The teen was transported to St. Barnabas and the woman was taken to Lincoln Hospital, both in stable condition, police said.
The suspect, dressed in a black hoodie, abandoned his bicycle and fled on foot, police said.
It wasn’t clear whether the three victims were the intended targets or whether any of those involved knew each other, cops said.
Police are still investigating a prior case in which an armed bicyclist riding a Citi Bike shot two victims –– one in the foot and the other in the leg –– on June 7 on Lexington Avenue and Tompkins Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn around 10:24 p.m.
