Where Rangers’ salary cap stands as busy offseason continues

The Rangers’ shadow roster of two goaltenders, five defensemen and 12 forwards, as compiled by The Post, accounts for approximately $72,531,000. This leaves general manager Jeff Gorton with around $8,969,000 which with to deal with restricted free agents Jacob Trouba, Tony DeAngelo, Pavel Buchnevich and Brendan Lemieux while completing the 2019-20 roster.
