Two siblings who went missing in Newark, NJ, on Wednesday morning have been found safe in Jersey City, according to the police.
The kids were identified by authorities asTreazure Greene, 14, and her 9-year-old brother, Shan Greene.
At least one of the kids had previously run away from home, said Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose.
A woman was led from the family’s home in handcuffs later in the morning, but it was unclear if the move was related to the kids, ABC7 reported. Her relationship to them is unknown.
The siblings were last seen in the 100 block of South Seventh Street at 2 a.m.
