Georgia woman who claimed to use HIV for revenge doesn’t have the STD
The Georgia woman who posted a viral rant claiming she purposely infected her partners with HIV doesn’t have the sexually transmitted disease, police said Friday.
Brandi Yakeima Lasiter told officers Tuesday that she “made the video because she was angry” and was not HIV-positive, news station WRBL reported.
Americus Police said she provided documentation of bloodwork from September 2018 that showed she didn’t test positive for the STD.
She also voluntarily submitted to another blood test, which revealed that she didn’t have the virus, authorities said.
Lasiter now faces charges for harassing communications in connection to the video posted last week to Facebook Live.
In the video, Lasiter rattled off a list of men she allegedly infected, along with their wives and girlfriends. She also boasted that she always gets the last laugh.
