‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Season 3 trailer reveals air date, details
Debbie did Dallas and this December, Midge will do Miami.
Midge is, or course, Midge Maisel, the stand-up comic heroine of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” the award-winning Amazon comedy with a just-announced third season premiere date of Dec. 6.
In the new trailer released Monday, Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) and Susie (Alex Borstein) hit the road with singer Shy Baldwin (Leroy McClain), traveling to Miami — where much of the season is based —and embarking on a USO tour to meet the troops.
“This Is Us” star Sterling K. Brown will join the cast this season in an undisclosed role.
The trailer is a tapestry of nightclubs, hula hoops, fistfights and classic 1950s Florida hotels. But one thing is clear: Midge has reconciled with her estranged husband (Michael Zegen). Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle return in key supporting roles as Midge’s manager, Suzy, and her parents, Abe and Rose Weissman, respectively.
