Corporations can follow different rules in small claims court
Dear John: Corporations no longer have to hire an attorney in small claims court. Any officer of the corporation can represent them.
I doubt if the officers of large corporations would bother. They would use an attorney, but they do not have to.

Dear S.A.: Thanks for the update.
I haven’t been to small claims court in awhile but I miss the place. Hopefully I’ll have an excuse to go back soon. I’ll let you know when so you can join me.
