The 75th annual NYC Columbus Day Parade promises to be the largest celebration of Italian American culture in the world.
But it’ll also bring traffic chaos throughout Manhattan on Monday as hundreds of thousands are expected to celebrate along Fifth Avenue.
The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. at 44th Street and Fifth Avenue and will march up Fifth Avenue to 72nd Street, with more than 130 marching groups. There will be red carpet performances on Fifth Avenue.
Most importantly for commuters, these are the roads the New York City Department of Transportation says will be closed at the discretion of NYPD:
