Three-woman crew assault and rob man on his way to the PATH train
A trio of women attacked and robbed a man in Midtown, clobbering him with a “pipe-like object” as he was on his way to catch a PATH train, authorities said.
The unidentified 41-year-old man was walking down 32nd Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues around 5:30 a.m. Saturday when the pack set upon him, pushing him to the ground, police said.
The crew beat and kicked him, then took off with his wallet and cellphone, police said.
The battered victim continued on to New Jersey, where he was treated at an area hospital for multiple bruises and lacerations to his head, arms and legs, police said.
