The drummer for metalcore band Walls of Jericho was busted by authorities in Oregon for having more than 630 pounds of marijuana, local police said.
Drummer Dustin Schoenhofer, 41, was arrested with the enormous haul of grass when he was pulled over in a pickup truck on Highway 140 on Oct. 23rd, Oregon State Police said.
Schoenhofer, who also had more than 36 pounds of hash oil, was allegedly driving to Ohio, where he lives, police said.
He was hit with charges including possession of marijuana, distribution of a controlled substance and possession of extract.
When police stopped him and discovered the pot, Schoenhofer allegedly told them he was driving to Ohio, but didn’t know he had the enormous amount of pot in his truck, local television station KTVZ reported.
Schoenhofer’s band, Walls of Jericho, has been performing hardcore metal music since they formed in 1998. Their latest album, “No One Can Save You from Yourself,” was released in 2016.
