A man driving a white Jeep in New Hampshire was ticketed by cops for having about a foot of snow on top of his ride.
“Officer Mark Webster stopped this vehicle today with a glacier on top of his car,” Rye Police Department posted on Facebook on Wednesday.
The driver, whose name was not released, was also forced to remove the snow.
Police said the driver was in violation of Jessica’s Law — named after Jessica Smith, who was killed when ice from a tractor-trailer blew off, causing a second truck to collide with her car.
The 2002 New Hampshire legislation requires drivers to clean their cars of snow and ice or face hefty fines, WMUR reported.
Drivers who violate the negligent driving law can be fined $250 to $500 for a first offense and $500 to $1,000 for repeat offenses.
