The Big Apple’s loathed “Spitting Lady of 77th Street” — a homeless woman who has doused locals with saliva for years — is up to her filthy antics again, this time on the subway.
A disgusted straphanger riding an A train to Manhattan on Friday morning took photos of a woman who resembled Hilda Barrion — the Upper East Side’s infamous spitter — and complained she was rubbing used tissues on the rails.
“This is my 4th or 5th time seeing this woman move from car to car spitting/ sneezing wiping used snot napkins on rails and yelling!” Olivia Silverman-Franklin wrote — tagging the New York City Subway.
The horrified rider said the woman got off at Fulton Street around 10:15 a.m. — vanishing but leaving behind plenty of DNA evidence.
“I have seen her about four or five times now and I am baffled nobody says or does anything to stop her,” Silverman-Franklin, 26, later told The Post. “Today I just had enough!”
“I’ll never forget the first time I saw her, literally spitting on the ground, and taking the napkin she had just sneezed/coughed/yacked in then proceed to wipe it on the railings where people put their hands,” the student added.
“I’ve been petrified ever since and now I know she takes the A train, I try my best not to hold onto anything,” Silverman-Franklin said, adding she was scared of getting sick.
The Post revealed in March 2017 how Argentina native Barrion had been terrorizing residents of the Upper East Side for years — spitting on children and menacing locals who had unsuccessfully pleaded with cops to take action.
Thousands of locals signed a petition calling on Mayor Bill de Blasio to act after The Post exposed her disgusting antics, and later that month Barrion was finally nabbed and charged with stalking and endangering the welfare of a child whom she allegedly spat on three times.
“For years there has been a woman who has been wandering the streets of the upper east side who screams, yells and spits on people,” the petition read.
“Pedestrians see her on a daily basis, and despite numerous calls to police, the public was told to turn a blind eye. This woman is not only a nuisance, but she is a threat as she is assaulting people vilely with saliva. She mainly spits on children, while also hissing and yelling at them,” the petition continued.
Locals at the time rejoiced at her arrest, claiming the woman had made them feel unsafe for years.
“She has always had a problem with my mom. She always spits and screams at her,” said 20-year-old Lei Takanashi in March 2017. “It makes my mom feel unsafe.”
“My mom is relieved [by the arrest]. She is definitely happy about it,” she added.
But it appears the woman is back on the streets and is this time sullying subway cars. The NYPD said the last time they came into contact with Barrion was at her arrest in March 2017 and have no record of her ever since.
The MTA did not immediately respond to request for comment.
At the time of her arrest, Barrion had $19,133 in cash on her — which she told cops she had earned from collecting bottles and cans.
She was also nabbed with her nephew, Gabriel Uno, who was charged with menacing, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon for throwing a table at someone on East 81st Street on March 18, sources said.
At her Manhattan Criminal Court appearance, the homeless woman flipped out and started ranting about her innocence.
“Please, it’s abuse,” she wailed. “I’m innocent and I haven’t done anything. Why you take a picture of me?”
