The moment for Kamaru Usman and Colby Convington to settle their months-long war of words finally arrives with their fight Saturday night at UFC 245 in Las Vegas.
The fight will be held at the T-Mobile Arena and will be broadcast on the streaming service ESPN+ as a pay-per-view. The main card starts at 10 p.m. ET.
The fight comes several months after their altercation at a Vegas casino in March, which happened the day after Usman defeated Tyron Woodley to claim the UFC welterweight title. Following that run-in, the two continued to take verbal jabs at each other, and their UFC 245 fight was confirmed in October.
Usman — who is the first Nigerian-born UFC champion — is unbeaten in the UFC and has 10 straight wins. Covington is the former interim champion.
They both hold a 15-1 record.
Usman and Covington are known for their aggressive strikes, and Covington set the UFC record for most strikes thrown in a single fight with 541.
UFC 245 also features a featherweight title battle between Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski and Amanda Nunes’ women’s bantamweight title fight against Germaine de Randamie.
