Man steals $70 from blind woman at Port Authority Bus Terminal: cops
Police are seeking the public’s help in finding the heartless thug who swiped cash from a blind woman’s wallet while she was with her 10-year-old daughter at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
The 45-year-old woman was standing with her daughter — who was sorting money in the wallet — when the thief grabbed $70 from the little girl’s hands near the information booth in the South Wing of the station at around 12:15 p.m. Friday, Port Authority police said.
Surveillance footage shows the bearded crook — wearing a blue and white oversized sweatshirt, a khaki jacket and jeans — entering the subway and jumping the turnstile.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Port Authority police at 201-239-3500.
