The 2020 NFL playoffs kick off this weekend with wild-card weekend.
The action gets under way on Saturday with the two AFC matchups as the No. 3 seeded New England Patriots, the AFC East champions playing in the wild-card round for the first time in 10 years, host the No. 6 seeded Tennessee Titans. The No. 4 seeded Houston Texans, the AFC South champions, will host the No. 5 seeded Buffalo Bills.
Many are wondering if the Patriots dynasty is about to crumble, with 42-year-old Tom Brady and the offense struggling and the team coming off a Week 17 home loss to the Dolphins. The Pats will face a Titans team which defeated the Texans in Week 17 to secure their playoff berth behind a monster 211 yards rushing from Derrick Henry.
The Texans, who are getting defensive star J.J. Watt back from injury, are making their fourth playoff appearance in five years. They lost to the Colts at home in last year’s wild-card round. The Bills are making their second playoff appearance in three years under head coach Sean McDermott, who snapped the franchise’s 17-year playoff drought.
