A man was shot after a small group approached him outside a Queens laundromat early Saturday, police said.
The 26-year-old man was in front of the 24-hour Lucky Eight Laundromat on Liberty Avenue near 147th Place in Jamaica at about 3:45 a.m. when he was approached by four people, authorities said.
One of the men pulled out a gun and opened fire, striking the victim in the lower back, officials said.
He was taken to a Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, while police are still hunting for the men responsible for the attack.
It was not immediately clear what prompted the gunfire, cops said.
