Who is Madison Prewett? Meet ‘The Bachelor’ contestant vying for Peter Weber

The world is about to meet the ladies vying for Peter Weber’s heart when “The Bachelor” premieres Monday night, but even before the hit ABC dating show airs, we already know a bit about the contestants — thanks to the internet.

Sleuths have already started digging up tidbits about several of the contestants, including Madison Prewett, a 23-year-old from Auburn, Alabama.

It won’t be her big TV debut either. Prewett, who works as a foster parent recruiter, posted on her Instagram account that she was once a contestant on “The Price Is Right,” scoring $8,000 on the game show.

“It was a blur in the moment — this weird out-of-body experience,” Prewett told local media at the time of her win, when she was still a student. “I’m still thinking and praying about (what I’ll do with the money).”

She’s also no stranger to the stage. Prewett is one of several contestants this season on “The Bachelor” who have competed in pageants. The bombshell participated in the 2014 Miss Alabama Teen USA pageant.

Competition seems to be in her blood, too. According to her bio, Prewett’s father, Chad Prewett, is director of operations for Auburn University’s Tigers basketball team.

“She shoots! SHE SCORES! That is something Madison is used to hearing,” Prewett’s bio reads. “This Alabama cutie not only helped lead her high school basketball team to four state championships, she was also once named state MVP thanks to her unstoppable jump shot. She credits a lot of her success to her dad who coached her and always encouraged her to dream big.”

When “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison introduced the contestants during a live broadcast Dec. 16 on ABC, he pointed out that Madison herself is also a baller.

“Madison is also a heck of a hoops player herself — former MVP for her four-time state champion high school hoops team. So badass girl here,” Harrison said. “What makes her even more special? Heart of gold. She is a recruiter that matches foster parents with children. So this is a good girl.”

Harrison also called her a favorite with “a heart of gold,” so clearly, she’s one to watch.

“Bachelor” guru Reality Steve has already posted spoilers for Weber’s season, including whether Prewett will advance to the next episode.

The three-hour premiere of Season 24 of “The Bachelor” featuring Peter Weber airs on ABC at 8 p.m. EST on Monday night.
