An NYPD school-safety agent has been arrested for choking her 9-year-old grand-niece, cops said Tuesday.
Valerie Jackson was taken into custody in her Brooklyn home around 11:45 p.m. Monday after she choked the child during an argument, police said.
The 59-year old city employee was charged with strangulation, harassment and acting in a manner injurious to a child, police said.
The victim was not seriously injured, authorities said.
It was not immediately clear what the pair was arguing about, cops said.
Jackson has been employed by the NYPD since at least 2014, according to public records.
