A woman who suffered from cerebral palsy was found dead in her Bronx public housing apartment — and neighbors Tuesday described a tumultuous relationship between the woman and her mother — and police are probing whether her mother was responsible, sources said.
The body of Irene Franco, 29, was discovered by cops and medics who responded to her Jackson Houses apartment in Melrose at 9 a.m. Monday after her mom called 911, police sources said.
“The mom . . . was always loud and mean,” said one neighbor Arthur, who declined to give his full name. “She was always yelling at Irene.”
The mother has not been charged, police said.
