Staten Island cops hit pay dirt with a search warrant Wednesday — seizing a 275-pound stash of marijuana and more than 12,000 cannabis-laced vaping cartridges.
Photos posted on Twitter by the NYPD’s 120th Precinct show a chest-high pile of the bagged-up weed and more than a half-dozen boxes filled to the brim with the vaping cartridges.
“Kudos to @NYPD120Pct Field Intelligence Officers and Special Operations staff who with the assistance of @StatenIslandDA made a tremendous seizure of illegal drugs before they contaminate the streets of Staten Island,” the Twitter post said.
“This is what @NYPD120Pct is doing to keep our community safe.”
Police said they seized 8,100 Glo cannabis extract cartridges and nearly 4,000 THC cartridges.
The warrant was carried out at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Victory Boulevard home.
Police said no arrests were made, but the investigation is continuing.
