A woman was slashed after her kid threw up on a Brooklyn bus, police said Wednesday.
The 31-year-old victim was traveling with her two kids on an MTA bus in East New York around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday when the younger one got sick and vomited, cops said.
As the bus came to a stop, an unidentified woman became “irate,” police sources said, and exited with the mother and children near Elton Street and Sutter Avenue, where she approached the mother and slashed her in the face with a knife before fleeing in a black Toyota Camry, police said.
The mother was taken to Brookdale Hospital with a severe cut to the face, said cops, who added the children were uninjured.
The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the female suspect is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
