‘It’s all fake’: Three Democratic congressmen leave Trump’s State of the Union early

Three Democratic congressmen abruptly left President Trump’s State of the Union address, with one declaring “I’ve had enough” after walking out.

Tim Ryan, an Ohio legislator, announced his sudden departure on Twitter.

“I just walked out of the #StateOfTheUnion. I’ve had enough. It’s like watching professional wrestling. It’s all fake,” he wrote.

Before exiting, Ryan blasted one of Trump’s talking points.

“The President spent the first half of his #SOTU speech talking about how great the economy is for American workers,” Ryan tweeted.

“But if that’s true, why are so many Ohioans working 2 or 3 jobs and struggling to make ends meet?”

Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton, a former Marine, said he walked out when Trump began listing his administration’s military accomplishments.

“I left the #SOTU after Trump—a draft dodger who has mocked Sen. John McCain, Gold Star families, and soldiers with traumatic brain injury—started talking about the good he has done for our military,” Moulton wrote.

Congressman Bill Pascrell, from New Jersey, also announced on Twitter that he left early.

“I just walked out of the #StateOfTheUnion. I can’t stand a liar. This man’s presidency is a national tragedy,” Pascrell said.
