Nothing a little sunshine can’t fix.
Two weeks after falling to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 2020, 49ers tight end George Kittle is enjoying a hefty dose of Vitamin D with wife Claire and a few teammates in Cabo San Lucas.
“A lil love & a lil sun cures a lot of things,” Claire captioned a group shot Wednesday on Instagram. “Also highly recommend finding friends that will book an international flight with you in one days notice.”
Mrs. Kittle tagged fellow 49ers stars in the photo, including quarterback Nick Mullens, receiver Trent Taylor and tight end Levine Toilolo.
Kittle, who married Claire last April, had four receptions for 36 yards against Kansas City in the 31-20 defeat. Following the game, Claire posted an emotional message about the Niners’ run.
“It’s hard to find the words after experiencing such heart break. But then I look at these photos and I see the joy these group of people give myself and George. We are blessed & loved beyond measure and there’s nothing better than that,” Claire began. “@gkittle46 I am so undeserving of your grace and your ability to see the good in all things. We have experienced worse things this year than the loss of a single football game and our perspectives have changed because of it.”
She continued, “Above all, I am thankful for a fully healthy husband who is more fired up and determined than ever before. He is thankful but he is angry and that is powerful. You heard it, but I’ll say it as well. He will be back wearing the Super Bowl logo again.”
