Actress Glenn Close has sold Beanfield — the Westchester farmhouse that she owned for almost 30 years, for $2.75 million.
That’s 23 percent less than its original asking price of $3.6 million.
The news was first reported by the Los Angeles Times.
Close held an estate sale at the 10-acre property, in Bedford Hills, NY, in late 2019 as part of her move “out of New York entirely,” as Page Six reported. The estate sale included a pan of bunnies in a tribute to “Fatal Attraction.”
The main house, which dates to 1910, has four bedrooms over 5,773 square feet. The LA Times reports the home has a dining room with paneled walls, custom tin ceilings in the kitchen, five fireplaces and a balcony off the master suite that looks out to the grounds.
The property also features a guest house, a barn that has been converted into an office space and a playhouse with a loft.
The listing broker was Muffin Dowdle of Ginnel Real Estate. Ben Ginnel, of Ginnel Real Estate, repped the buyer.
