At least eight people were gunned down during shootings at two separate hookah bars in Germany on Wednesday night, a report said.
In the first attack, a gunman opened fire at an establishment in the town of Hanau, which is about 18 miles east of Frankfurt, according to the Guardian.
A second shooting took place in another part of the town, about 2 miles away, according to the report.
In total, eight people were killed and five others seriously injured.
The gunman had not been captured immediately after the shooting, and the motive in the shooting was not known.
It was not clear if there was one gunman or multiple.
