A Domino’s pizza delivery driver was struck by a car after a botched robbery in Brooklyn, cops said.
The 21-year-old victim was delivering a pizza to 1259 Loring Ave. in East New York around 12:55 a.m. Feb. 23 when he was attacked by two men, police said.
When the victim came to deliver the pizza, the pair asked him to come into the lobby, according to the police. He refused, and drove back to the Domino’s a little over a mile away.
Soon after, the men called back asking for their pizza to be delivered. The victim agreed on the condition they meet him outside the building, cops said.
When he returned to deliver the pizza, the men allegedly refused to pay for it, and jumped him from behind as he was trying to get back into the car, police said.
During the struggle, he fell onto the street, where he was run over by an oncoming car, police said. The driver stayed while the two attackers fled.
The 21-year-old suffered internal injuries, facial bruising, lacerations and dental fractures, and was taken to Kings County Medical Center, where he remained Thursday, according to police.
