Harry Styles wears chiffon gown in new music video for ‘Falling’
Harry Styles’ new video may be called “Falling,” but it’s more like “Drowning.”
The former One Direction heartthrob gets wet and weepy in the clip for his new single from his latest album, “Fine Line.” Water fills his piano as he pours out his heartache in the ballad.
Talk about cry me a river.
As water continues to rise, it completely engulfs Styles, who somehow keeps on singing, playing and looking fabulous as usual.
Of course, no Styles video would be complete without a style statement from the singer. Here, he rocks a billowy chiffon gown with a long train and eye-catching cocktail rings — the better for you to pay attention to his piano skills. The whole thing gives off major hipster Liberace vibes.
The surrealistic video was directed by Dave Meyers, who also directed Styles’ “Adore You” clip and has worked with everyone from Missy Elliott and Janet Jackson to Pink and Katy Perry.
Also this week, Styles announced two “Harryween” shows at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 30 and 31, with fans encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes. In addition, his Love on Tour 2020, which kicks off in April, has three more MSG dates on July 6, 7 and 8.
But as far as we’re concerned, you can never have too much of Harry.
