A Westchester County residence once owned by the late Martin Charnin, creator of the original Broadway musical “Annie,” is now on the market for $899,000.

The seller is his widow, Emmy award-winning actress Shelly Burch, a former soap star on ABC’s “One Life to Live,” where she played Delila Ralston. Burch also starred in her husband’s productions, including “Annie,” for which Charnin wrote, directed and did the lyrics when it debuted in 1977.

Burch, who was discovered by Tommy Tune, was also in the original cast of “Nine” on Broadway, according to the listing broker, Angela Manson of Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s.

The couple moved into the house, at 116 Surrey Drive in New Rochelle, NY, from Scarsdale in 2015 — when they bought the home for $850,000.

Take note: New Rochelle is the suburb of New York City that has the nation’s largest cluster of confirmed coronavirus cases; Gov. Andrew Cuomo sent the National Guard to form a containment zone there on Tuesday.

Recently renovated, Charnin and Burch’s four-bedroom, 3½-bathroom spread includes a modern chef’s kitchen and an adjacent cathedral great room with sliding doors to the deck. There’s also a living room with hardwood floors adjacent to the dining room, a family room that extends the length of the house with its own rear entrance, a guest suite on the ground floor, and a finished basement.
