De Blasio and Carranza in coronavirus masks resemble Old West bank robbers

Those aren’t masked bandits — that’s the mayor and schools chief.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza were caught leaving a press conference at the Alfred E. Smith Elementary School on Henry Street Tuesday morning looking more like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid than top honchos.

De Blasio was sporting a blue bandanna over his face and Carranza a black and gray scarf over his.

They were obviously heeding the advice of health experts to cover their faces while in public during the coronavirus lockdown.

But it’s not the first time the mayor has been snapped looking like an Old West bank robber.

He’s also been nabbed wearing a scarf during his daily morning strolls in Prospect Park.
