A man was fatally stabbed early Tuesday on a Brooklyn subway train, according to police.
The victim was attacked on a northbound J train as it pulled into the Lorimer Street station in Williamsburg around 2:30 a.m., police said.
The unidentified suspect ran off the train and fled the station.
The victim stayed on the train until it reached the Flushing Avenue station, where cops discovered him unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to his neck and back, police said.
It is unknown if the two knew each other or whether the attacker was a man or woman.
The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull, where he died.
