Former Super Bowl MVP Von Miller is now the second NFL player with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
The Broncos linebacker’s agent Joby Branion informed NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport of the diagnosis of Miller, whose symptoms don’t appear to be very serious.
“The Broncos star is at home resting and in good spirits,” Rapoport tweeted. “He plans to speak publicly tomorrow.”
Miller, 31, is just the latest star athlete with a confirmed case of the disease, joining Kevin Durant, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. Three members of the neighboring Colorado Avalanche have tested positive, as well.
A former second overall pick, Miller is an eight-time Pro Bowler, who has been named a First Team All-Pro on three occasions.
One day earlier, Rams center Brian Allen revealed he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
