No prom, no problem.
That’s the message Dua Lipa is helping to spread to many high-school seniors across the country who won’t be able to rent that tacky tux or wear that regrettable dress this year.
The 24-year-old British singer — who won the Best New Artist Grammy last year and released her second album, “Future Nostalgia,” in March — is co-hosting the iHeartRadio Prom with KISS FM’s JoJo Wright across iHeartRadio stations nationwide Friday.
The four-hour event, which will take place at 8 p.m, will feature DJ mixes from the likes of Marshmello, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Martin Garrix, Loud Luxury and the Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am.
The celebration will also include special messages from John Legend, Noah Cyrus and Sabrina Carpenter, plus a special performance by “Someone You Loved” singer Lewis Capaldi.
Now that’s getting the party started.
