Funhouse’s first Mike Francesa videos since self-imposed ban lifted

It didn’t take long for the anonymous Twitter user Funhouse to get back to posting clips from Mike Francesa shows.

What was the first one he posted on Wednesday since returning from the self-imposed ban?

A clip of Francesa telling his audience that he witnessed first-hand the gambling exploits Michael Jordan.

Francesa brought himself into the story recently on his radio show when talking about Jordan’s gambling exploits that have been documented in the 10-part series “The Last Dance.”

“Let’s be honest. Jordan is a freakish gambler,” Francesa said. “I actually have been in the casino with him, and he gambles crazy at the card tables. I mean he’ll play the whole table for big stakes. I’ve seen him do it.”

Francesa also made the point that Jordan was easily able to afford his high-stakes gambling.

“So he will wager a lot of money,” Francesa added. “But remember, it’s all relative. Jordan turned down million dollar appearances on a daily basis. Turned them down. They weren’t big enough. I’m talking about actual millions of dollars a day in appearances and turned them down. They weren’t big enough. That’s how big he was.”

Funhouse also wanted his 100,000-plus followers to know that it wasn’t the first time Francesa wanted his listeners to know that he saw a sports legend gambling big bucks. The account also posted a video tweet from a few years of the longtime host saying he saw Pete Rose bet heavily numerous times.

“A lot of us saw Rose bet a lot. I saw Rose bet when he was a player,” Francesa said in the older clip. “I saw him bet in the offseason in a card show … when he was a player, like a madman.”

These clips came less than two weeks after @BackAftaThis said he would never again post video from Francesa’s show — this, after Francesa and Entercom barred anybody from posting videos of the show without their consent, only to relent three weeks later.

Funhouse explained the reason for the flip-flop.

“Mike’s show is awful,” @BackAftaThis wrote in a tweet earlier on Wednesday. “As I mentioned the other day, a big catalyst for me rethinking this was getting a taste of the despicable, deceitful Colin Cowherd day after day. The grass isn’t always greener when you decide to cover other hosts. Mike may be a jerk at times, but he’s OUR jerk.”

On April 23, Funhouse told The Post’s Andrew Marchand he would not start tweeting out Francesa clips again unless he was getting paid for it.

“I have absolutely no plans to resume posting Mike’s clips,” @BackAftaThis said with a chuckle at the time. “He let me out of jail and I’m not going back willingly unless I’m compensated handsomely for it.”
