A man and woman walked into an Oklahoma City McDonald’s and shot two employees after an argument over the dining room being closed for coronavirus restrictions.
“They were asked to leave, and they refused and produced a gun,” Lt. Michelle Henderson of the Oklahoma City Police Department said of the suspects, a man and a woman, according to NBC News.
The dining area “was closed because of the virus,” Henderson said.
The 17-year-old workers struck in the 6:20 p.m. shooting were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, the report said.
Another employee fell and injured her head during the shooting, according to news station KFOR.
The suspects are in custody. Charges against them are pending.
