Dennis Rodman thinks Kim Jong Un is alive and watching ‘The Last Dance’

Dennis Rodman believes his pal Kim Jong Un is alive — and probably spending his time like most Americans: watching the Michael Jordan documentary “The Last Dance.”

“HUGE Bulls fan,” Rodman, 58, told The Post via email of the North Korean despot.

The former Chicago Bull is also dunking on news reports claiming Kim, whom he befriended during a 2013 trip to Pyongyang, was incapacitated after heart surgery.

“It probably wasn’t much,” Rodman said of his pudgy friend’s health issues. “I’ve been to dinner with dignitaries there that were reported to be dead here. I don’t believe North Korean news until I hear it from their side. I think the fact that they keep to themselves, in many ways, gives the media the ability to run with rumors at times.”

Rodman has visited North Korea several times and, in 2019, approached President Trump about letting him step in to strengthen diplomatic ties between the dictatorship and the U.S.

In April, the Hall of Famer said he was praying for Kim’s health.

“I hope it’s just a rumor that Marshal Kim Jong Un is sick,” Rodman told TMZ sports. “Hopefully I will find out more soon.”

Last week, North Korea’s state-run media released photos of the pudgy hoops fan at a ribbon-cutting ceremony sparking speculation that it was actually a body double.

“Ha ha ha. That’s a stretch,” Rodman said of the switcheroo theory.

He admitted he hasn’t spoken to Kim recently. “All I can say, is I hope Kim is safe and sound because there is a lot more work and peace to be done between both nations.”

When and if Kim’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, takes over as ruler, she’s already got a friend in the man known as The Worm.

“His sister was a sweetheart,” said Rodman. “She was very kind to me when [I was a] guest.”
